Here is a way that NetRadar improves readability of a graph by pruning off needlessly long segments. 
Here is a simple visualization where the borders of the graph have been hidden to show a bit more network topography.
Here is a cleaned up map of how a web hosting center connects to the Internet. In this example, clients in the red areas of the map would have slower access times.
This is an picutre of NetRadar running within Netscape. In the future, people using NetRadar may be able to post their network graphs to a web site.
This is the first implementation of what is now the core of the NetRadar visualization system.
